When the reward is "discount"
If you specify a customer who has any ungranted rewards as the payer at checkout (or select that customer's booking as a payment item), you'll see a list of rewards that can be granted.
When you select the rewards you want to apply, the discount will be applied (Checkout screen > Discount > Total ).
-
If the reward is set with a discount rate
the discount rate will be applied to the whole. -
If the reward is set by amount
Discounts will be applied up to the maximum reward amount in the order in which they are added to the payment list.
[Example: If the reward discount amount is $30 and items of 1) $25 and 2) $8 are added to the payment list in the order of 1-> 2, 1) will be $0 and 2) will be $3 ($8 -($30-$25)]
If the total payment amount is smaller than the discount amount, the payment will be $0 but remaining discount will be lost
[Ex, if the discount is $30 and the payment amount is $20, the payment will be $0, but remaining $10 discount will be lost]
Applying the discount using the steps above will change the status of the customer's reward to "Redeemed". You can check the status Customers> Customer details > Loyalty Program
When the prize is a "free item"
Free items are generally handed over to the customer when the customer's points are reached to the point set for the item.
Therefore, when the acquisition of "free items" is displayed on the completion of Checkout > Payment, the corresponding item is usually given to the customer. Hand it over and press the "Mark as redeemed" button to change the prize status to "Redeemed".
If you hand over a free item at a time other than the check-out timing, navigate to Customer > Customer Details > Loyalty Program > Rewards History, click the pencil button at the right end of the reward item and click the "Mark as Redeemed" button to change the status of the reward to "Redeemed".
